How to Fill Online Form

Here is the step-by-step guide to filling out your form starting April 21, 2026.


????️ Phase 1: Preparation (Keep these ready)

Before you open the portal, ensure you have the following scanned and saved on your device:

  • Photograph: Recent passport-size (usually 20kb–50kb, JPEG).

     

  • Signature: Done with a black/blue pen on white paper (10kb–20kb).

  • Educational Proof: Marksheets/Certificates of 10th, 12th, Graduation, and Teacher Training (D.El.Ed/B.Ed).

  • ID Proof: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID.

     

  • Category Certificate: If applying for reservation (SC/ST/BC/EWS/PVTG).


???? Phase 2: Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Registration

  1. Visit the official JAC website: jac.jharkhand.gov.in or the specific portal jacexamportal.in.

  2. Click on the link "Apply Online for JHTET 2026".

  3. Select "New Registration".

  4. Enter your Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Email ID.

  5. Verify your details using the OTP sent to your phone/email.

Step 2: Fill Personal & Academic Details

  1. Log in using the Registration ID and Password sent to you.

  2. Fill in Father’s/Mother’s name, Gender, and Category.

  3. Choose your Paper: Select Paper I (Primary), Paper II (Upper Primary), or both.

     

  4. Language Selection: Choose your Language-I (Hindi/English/Urdu) and Language-II (Regional Language).

  5. Enter your marks and passing years for all required qualifications.

Step 3: Upload Scanned Documents

  1. Upload your photo and signature.

  2. Ensure the clarity of the images to avoid rejection.

Step 4: Fee Payment

  1. Review the fee amount (General/OBC: ₹1,300–₹1,500; SC/ST: ₹700–₹800).

     

  2. Pay via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

     

  3. Do not refresh the page until the payment success message appears.

Step 5: Final Review & Submission

  1. Use the "Preview" button to check every single column. Check spelling and date of birth especially.

  2. Once confirmed, click "Submit".


???? Phase 3: Post-Submission

  • Download the Confirmation Page: This is your proof of application.

  • Print 2-3 Copies: You will need this for the Admit Card download and during the Document Verification (DV) stage later.
